From time to time I like looking at my old DM brochures.  In this particular brochure, I have all but TWO of the models advertised, and not adding them to my collection was my choice.  Long time followers of my posts here on the Diecast Forum's, I'm sure can guess which models they are.  I miss those days when these brochures arrived in the mail.

George, those were some of the BEST times ever for me too. They were so affordable and when they arrived and you had them in hand...well...what can I say that would be permissable on this Forum...👍

George, yes they were the good ole days.  Always looked forward to getting the new catalog.  I think I still have most of them as I did not throw them out.  As for the two you did not get, I will go with the Packard Hawk and the 55 Nomad.

George, the first pick for me is the 56 Thunderbird which wasn't a guess. The second was a guess, The Bullet nosed Studebaker. Having every model pictured clearly explains the extent of my addiction.

Mr. Jackman, you nailed it and do know me.  Smile With regard to YOUR addiction, I think the fact that you admittedly have over 6,000 model cars in your collection to my meager just under 400, says YES, you are addicted.  And I applaud you for being so!

Speaking of our respective numbers of models, made me smile as I recalled some years back when a member here on the Forum ever so proudly boasted that he, "had a rather large collection of 12 models".  To which another member here quickly responded back to him, "12 isn't a large collection of anything, unless it's kids".  I still laugh at that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you Sir, as you know I've always had the utmost respect for you.  God's blessings to you and your Lori for a healthy 2026.

I have most of them, and I still have several of the catalogs.
