I fear I've been bitten by a nasty bug. It was last Wednesday down in Kentucky. I made the silly mistake of taking the new Corvette C8 Z51 around the National Corvette Museum's Motorsports track for four laps.

I know there are many of you that just don't like Corvette, and I understand that. Like all other cars, the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. On the other hand, there are quite a few Corvette lovers here, too. Not sure how many of you have had a chance to see one in person - let alone drive one.
With that said, be sure about one thing. Everything you have heard about this car? It's all true. From the flat out handling aspects to the fit and finish. I have a C7 and truly love the car. That said, the C8 takes it to the next level.
I've been informed that there is no cure for this bug. Therefore, I fear for my garage space....and my retirement account.
I'll keep you posted.
DUDE! .. I'll be praying for you ... TO BUY IT !!!! .... LOL - Just stroke tha check - U R good 4 it
Rut Roh!
Feeling the same; hard to resist.......
There is a definite value to the C8, what other mid engined sports car can be had in this price range?
Good for you Rick. I for one love the new C-8.
How many release forms did you have to sign to drive that?
There is no cure....
... I've had the Corvette affliction for years!

Good for you Rick ! My youngest brother is at the engine plant in Tonawanda.
LOL, back in my lending days at the bank, I'd have given you a credit line to feed your habit Rick.

How fun is that!! There are many more performance levels to come in the...
...future. There will be a Z06, another ZR-1 and by the time they reach the "Zora" level, it is said that the Vette will have 1000 hp. That's right, one thousand horse power. That will truly deserve an O M G !
Rick, you only live once. Go for it! Post pix when the beauty is in your garage!
Yes, but the clock is ticking louder and louder....get one while you can.

Boy, now that would truly get me into trouble!
I may wait for the Z06 announcement. We’ll see. You’re right, Tony, some exciting times are coming.
