I finally finished Thunderbird Sports Roadster number 4, and decided on the color...PICs...

Castillian Gold with black interior. I think this color combo shows off the elegant side of the SR.
Interior color changes are a challenge because there's a lot to dismember.

Here it is reassembled in black. Carpet was black flocked.

Engine and all other underhood accessories removed to paint engine compartment. Finished product:

So, here it is. Hope you enjoy. Mr. Jackman, how'd I do?!

Beyond the realm of Possibility !

Thank you for your generosity of photos.....laying out some of the steps is like a magician revealing the mechanics of a trick.....except in this case, even seeing this far inside, the "trick" is STILL mystifying

_____Your fleet of five is a remarkable array of elegance

Pete, you did a fantastic job. All of your repaints are terrific but IMO the gold is the best. You don't suppose I'm prejudiced do you? My second choice is your Silver Mink version. You are truly an artist and craftsman and I can't wait to see the other three colors.

That IS a beauty! My favorite year of the bullet birds. Too bad DM didn’t come thru for us.
