It was late and I was checking ebay 'cause I like seeing what asking prices on certain diecasts might be. There it was, a blue and white '55 so cheap my finger hit the buy it now thing before thinking twice.
It arrived in a few days and upon examination realized it needed serious cleaning and was missing its front bumper and a couple other pieces, but my trusty parts box provided them. I removed the conny kit and the window frames to make a hardtop but left the skirts and a lot of polishing too.
