I promise I won't ask again but what is the latest on the
D4C Auburn Speedster? I placed my order on 8/18/13 so I assume there will be no 2014/2015 D4C model.
Last I heard from Raffi they were on the dock and ready to ship...
...so they should be, 'on the water' at this point! YEA!
PIC - Hopefully NOT on this ship.... :-)) ....
Tony, "on the water" is better than "in the water".....

Ah Houston, we have a problem
Not to worry; only...
...yours was on THAT one! LOL!!
Wow, there's a red tape incident!
Thanks Tony. Somehow I suspect that the Auburn will be the last car we will see from the D4C.
Hi Bob, I sincerely hope you're wrong about that!!!
Dan, I hope so too but based on all of the problems this model posed I wouldn't be surprised. I don't know the total numbers on this model but I understand that they are far lower than any other D4C series. Do you know Tony? Also do you know of plans for another special?
Hey Bob...
I can't claim the privilege of knowing Tony by any more than his contributions and efforts here on the zone, and I definitely do not have any info about possible future ideas. I just know that the LECC XI Delahaye is one of, if not my absolute favorite models. Even sitting next to my recently acquired 'white whale,' Motor City Talbot Lago, the Delahaye still wins! If this new Auburn is anywhere near as spectacular (and from the photos we've seen, I think it will be) then it would be a shame to see this tradition end now, as the cars keep getting better!
Dan I apologize. I didn't intend to ask if you knew Tony, rather I was asking Tony if he knew if the special models would continue. Sorry for the confusion.
Hey Bob, no worries! That actually makes a lot more sense!!
