B&Y is a mean and arrogant combination, it screams ...
"Don't mess with me!", "Get out of my way!", "I want everyone to be aware of my presence."
Yellow is the color of mind and intellect and black is the color of the hidden and mystery...
Note that in the nature there are two types of animals with this combo, the poisonous ones that "say" go away or you are going to regret it, and the imitators of the first group. The large predators however are sneaky, they like to blend to the environment and attack unexpectedly, therefore they are very rarely black and yellow.

AH, what color is tigers and leopards??? ..... I would classify the black panther as the sneaky predator......

Agree, they are sneaky predators...
... they have camouflage colors, not alarming colors.
Black panther is black because it is a night hunter. Their eyes are yellow or green but I call that an accent. Leopards and tigers have mix of beige, tan, orange, brown and black colors, may be some but not so much yellow.
