One of my very favorites Greg, I’m old enough to have watched ‘77 Sunset Strip’ mainly just to see Kookies ‘T’. It left a lasting impression on me for sure. I cherish mine. Love your pics too, what a layout!
fantastic setups Greg.
Kookie had me fooled. Loved the cars from that show, especially the Thunderbird.
I watched that show faithfully from 1958 until it ended somewhere around 1964 - just to see Kookie's Kar. When DM released it, I about went nuts. It's, to me, the centerpiece of my hot rod and custom cars. Greg, you have a great collection of them from the custom panel truck to the Little Deuce Coupe to Kookie's Kar and the Ala Kart. The California Kid is a must, so is the 32 Ford McMullen Roadster.
But hearty CONGRATS on the 22 T/31 A Ford Kookie's Kar!!
Cha-ching, you hit the jackpot Greg. Congrats one a stunning find. Enjoy buddy. And yes, love your dio setup. 💯😎
Nice cars. I remember my parents watching 77 Sunset Strip. But as soon as I heard the theme, I knew it was bed time.
just clicked through your pics again Greg. What an effort fitting the DM car haulers holding straps to the Little Deuce Coupe. I got up to have a look at mine to see if....then came back and sat down again! And your 50s space age diner is a work of art. Well done Greg.
@perrone1 Have them all except the panel truck. Love the pictures Greg. I also have the California Kid and the McMullen Roadster.
Thanks everyone... Geoff, I would not like to drive to far with the way I have tired down that Little Deuce Coupe..
