I probably overpaid for this one, way past my comfort zone! It’s still a lot less than most I’ve seen though, so I made a lot of really good excuses to myself; you can’t take it with you!, it’s only money, you don’t have all that much time to spend your kid’s inheritance, and on and on til I finally convinced myself. Later on I’ll try to figure out how to convince my wife…dream on!

The Danbury or WCP version are on my wish list. I bought a not quite perfect WCP Sedan Delivery last spring. Still looking for the hardtop.

Just did the same with a 1/24 SmallWheels Jaguar XK150 a few minutes ago. All of your follow up justification comments are relevant here too Kevin! What a brilliant unique design the 59 Impala is. I have DMs convertible and the WCPD hardtop and El Camino. Still looking for a sedan delivery at a reasonable price.I probably overpaid for this one, way past my comfort zone!

Geoff, that SmallWheels Jaguar XK150 has pride of place in a small collection in my bedroom, pride of place for when I wake each day, away from my main collection.
