I'm just wondering if there any good or if you all heard of them they seem good quality might by one and try it out
I've owned a number of Crown Premium 1:24th scale models. They are a good, lower price-point alternative to 'mint' production replicas. And since the mints are no longer making their diecast cars, they may now be a larger alternative choice.
@john-barry wow those step vans look incredible and the tow truck too
@perrone1 they look like a good alternative to the Mints and btw big fan of your collection
@diecastcollector99 ...............Thank you DC99.....keep on truckin`:-)
Hey JB, do some more of those scenes where you find a background photos. Those impressed me!
I have some 50 or so Crown Premiums and they are comparably as good as DM & FM up until the last few years, where now their vehicles are made by Greenlight which make cheap diecasts. They must have run into the same hardships as DM/FM with the Chinese factories, because putting the older ones side by side with the DM/FM and you would think their cars as from them. Just my opion.
Interesting comment John N. I have a few older CPs and agree with yours and the other comments. I do not have any Greenlight cars but I really like their 1/24 trailers, there is some excellent scale replication on most of them, however, again not to overall Mint standard.
And also I support John S request for more of John Bs (Lotta Johns around here!) photo essays!
I only have one Crown Premium 1:24 scale diecast in my collection. It's a white/gold Oldsmobile and next to Danbury & Franklin it looks good.

I agree with Tony. I have two Crown Premiums, a 1970 Charger and a 1970 Road Runner. The Road Runner is really nice, very near Mint quality, but the Charger had some issues. The chrome is not that great and paint was full of orange peel. I've since repainted it. Overall, they're a good value for the money, but I noticed that certain models are approaching the $100 mark and beyond on eBay.
I had color-sanded and polished the roof and trunk and it looked a bit better

Two nice models Pete. I'd like having both in my collection. And great job on the paint job too!
