I wanted to do this as a what if. What if Ford would have allowed Mercury to use the Sportroof on the Cougar. I know some like it, some don't. But thats ok. That's what makes us unique. I never did get interior or engine shots, I need to do that.😊

Not a look that I would buy.....too chunky for me.  You may recall seeing pics posted of a '67-69 era Cougar with a fastback roof posted here; it was trimmer and IMO quite attractive.  It seems to me that the key is keeping the C pillar thinner.  I found these examples:

@jack-dodds the 67/68 Mustang roofline does seem to fit it better. I was just going with '69 on '69, as I had a scrap '69 Mustang body to work with.😊

To me, it seems to pull too much of the car to the rear making it appear bulky. Not really bad but not really good.
