Initially, I had thought of matching up this 1/24 figure
with the yellow/black Bugatti Bolide,
but she seemed too petite for that model.
So, I continued my search and yesterday, I found just the car for her, this 1905 Stutz Bearcat Speedster by Franklin Mint. It's a bit of retro for a stylish lass. The first photo is from the auction and was the only one provided. The other two are for illustrative purposes and I will take photos when it arrives.
@perrone1 She would disappear in the front seat of that Caddy, though I do like it, and she might need a ladder to get into the Simplex (I haven't seen a yellow one of that model, over here). Now, the T'Bird might be an option, but, again, I have not seen that one over here, yet.
Daisy? You named her Daisy?
I wouldn't seat Daisy in ANY car. She's too lovely standing there tall, slim and pouty. Standing next to any model, she'll stand out. But IF you could sit her down (Is it one of those figure that bends??) she'd look great in the back seat of this one:
Pose your driver next to the car, ready to......drive Miss Daisy!
@perrone1 She's resin, TP, so she doesn't bend. She was already pricey and I can only imagine what she would cost with that attribute.
@gdh She looks pricey which is why she belongs with the 54 Cadillac.
@perrone1 I'm still perplexed by the name you gave this little thing. Per l'amor di tutti i santi, perché proprio Daisy?
I think of HAL the computer in "2001 - A Space Oddity" singing : "Daisy, Daisy- Give Me Your Answer Do ... I'm half crazy over the love of you !"
@perrone1 I'm still perplexed by the name you gave this little thing. Per l'amor di tutti i santi, perché proprio Daisy?
LOL! Well it's not for the love of ALL the saints, just one - her! She reminded me of a daisy, delicate yellow petals, long stem and flower-like face. But she's your figure, to name however you feel appropriate. But to me, she'll always and forever be....Daisy Mae.
