All that's missing is the deafening sounds from the lawn mowers and leaf blowers! Displeased

Yes sir, a hot button for me too. Especially these air-cooled zero radius turn mowers. They are far too loud. So are the 2-cycle blowers.

For years and years now, I have only bought quiet liquid-cooled tractors with radiators and quiet automotive-type mufflers. My leaf blower is electric!

@sizedoesmatter LOL.....love the battery powered lawn mowers.....HATE the gas powered leaf blowers.  There is something therapeutic and satisfying about the sound of a rake and the physical workout of gathering up leaves.  I always let my missus know that I appreciate her efforts.

The Mrs. Jack does the lawn? Oh Jack, you are such a man!.

Reminds me of my favorite line in Casablanca. The young girl, Annina, trying to find a way to Lisbon for herself and husband, has been bartering with Capt. Renault. She asks Rick what kind of man is Renault. He says, "Just like any other man  -  only more so." Priceless.

LOL! Jack, you da MAN! The vast majority of the home owners in my town use grass cutting and landscaping services to maintain their lawns. You know they will use the most inexpensive and loudest equipment they could put their weed picking hands on.

@perrone1 I'm no expert in relationship nurturing Tony and John, but I do think that verbal spousal support is critical in order to avoid...well....spousal support...the court ordered type.  I rarely miss the opportunity to coach my missus' gardening efforts from my patio deck chair, offering tips when I can.  I sense she actually gets a bit emotional at times...mutual appreciation I guess you could call it.

@jack-dodds

Man meets his demise as wife claims spousal abuse. Death by a thousand cuts - from a Weed Whacker. Neighbors tried to help but could not catch her as she chased her husband 1/2 mile down the street!! He'll Rest in Pieces.

@jack-dodds Jack, I had no idea the extent of your compassion. It's a honor to know someone like you takes time each day with those of us who lack your caring.

@perrone1 LOL!  Hilarious Tony...but of course meant for someone else.  My missus always says she has a great plan for my future which includes life and financial freedom!  I can't wait....I'm a lucky guy.
