I remember fondly when this Brochure from FRANKLIN MINT arrived in my mailbox, and back in those days when FRANKLIN MINT was on, they were ON!  This model remains one of my favorites and it certainly is (in my opinion) one of the best 1:24 scale replica's of any car they did back in the day.

It's a solid model from bumper to bumper and very well crafted.  Seems everything is right about it, as the ride height, the doors, trunk, and hood are tight and snug, and the interior and engine compartment are detailed to perfection.  IT'S A NICE MODEL!

Just bought one on eBay… George, I trust your eye on the proportions, plus only heard good words for all FM 1970 Chevelle’s.

Great to see the "mail" series again George.

Thank you!  Though this is an old post, it is fun to re-visit them.  Don't know about others here on the Forum, but I do go back in the archives and scroll through old(er) threads that have entertained us.  If they aren't looked at over and over, they lose their value.  THANKS geoff-jowett for reviving this one!

I got into die casts late in live, but I got into building car kits in the 50s.

I "hark back" too, John. I've got this one (or two):
