This mail was HOT! The model depicted on this brochure literally jumped off the paper it is printed on.
Of the Tri-Five Chevy's, the '56 is the middle child so to speak. The '55 being the oldest gets a lot of the attention and the '57 being the baby of the trio gets touted over as well. But the '56 always seems to get the short stick when it comes to being a favorite. Like most Chevy lovers, I like all of the them, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the '56. It just looks (from a styling perspective) that Chevy got it right. And surely, DANBURY MINT got it right! Bumper to Bumper, Top to Bottom, this MATADOR RED and DUNE BEIGE 1:24 scale replica capture the real car perfectly.

The only thing Danbury Mint forgot to include are the keys!

As a side note to Danbury's '56 Chevy and their getting it right, I say that because though I equally like Franklin Mint's version, their roof-line is a bit to high. In these photo comparison's, check out the front of the Franklin roof. Both cars though, are treasures.

I'm a fan of the Tri-Five also, as a kid my best friend's dad had a 56 Chevy 210 Two Door Post.
@al_dorado, that is a beautiful model. The colors rock it!
