A simple Flyer that got me exited to order this car fast. What's interesting about that is that this is a car that I've always been vocal about it being not one of Ford's best styling efforts. My opinion of course. Early in life I heard the old adage, "Never Say Never", and I've also learned as I've aged, that those words ring true. I've warmed up to many cars that originally I was very cold on. This is one of them and I'm glad I have this model on my shelf.

One I'm sorry I missed. The color is perfect for this car and I don't have anything similar in my display case so it would make a great addition to my collection.

THANK YOU Bob! It's nice to know they are appreciated. Obviously there is some amount of work to scan each group of brochures or flyers and to offer a little write-up with each post. I am enjoying them because it's giving me the opportunity to go through all of my brochures/flyers that I haven't looked at in years. Getting them in the mail back in the day, really did make the mail fun.

@moe-parr, well never say never, as I said in the post above. Maybe one will someday come your way on the secondary market.

Love the model but I don't know why DM put the narrow whites on this model as they were not correct until 1962. Ironically they did two other 61 models that had the correct white wall width.
@bob-jackman, not getting the White-Walls period correct always bothered me too. It's such a little thing in the scheme of it all, yet it is a huge error when claiming a model to be authentically replicated. Still love the car though!
