Only to the eyes of the beholder. Not being a fan of customs, I'd have no interest, but it looks like a nicely done model. Â

@perrone1 Yep, you nailed it Tony.😊
@georgeschire I understand George, they're not for everybody, but I do love a nicely done custom. 😊
Oh yeah great minds Geno! How about the paint job?
@perrone1 Yes sir. I also have the 1/64 scale little brother. While original cars are my prime interest, a well done custom will get my attention.
@geoff-jowett Yeah, isn't it a beautiful color? These give up nothing to the Mint customs. Bob, I have the 1/64 as well.😊😎
I have to agree. I have this Cadillac, along with the Green Flames 49 Merc Custom, Twin Mill, 67 Shelby 500 and The Snake and Mongoose Funny Cars. As I found them on line years ago I grabbed them.
Cool John. I have this. The Shelby Mustang, the green and purple Mercs. I'd like to get the orange Merc with flames, plus the Twin Mill, the Yellow Coupe and the Snake and Mongoose. It's getting increasingly harder to find any of them at reasonable prices anymore. But it's making a good showing of their quality and collectability. Like the GMP models are finally getting the respect they deserve.😊
A tasteful custom job like this, can take the cultural place afforded by carrosserie of the '30s and '40s.
they were/are a great series of models aren't they Geno? I have the 49 Merc and the 34 Ford Hot Rod too.@geoff-jowett Yeah, isn't it a beautiful color? These give up nothing to the Mint customs. Bod, I have the 1/64 as well.😊😎
And their GT500 Shelby Mustang is a superb model, check out that engine bay. Yet strangely for all the detail elsewhere the model has a closed boot.

@geoff-jowett Fantastic Geoff, I love that yellow coupe. I gotta get me one.😎💯
yeh I love it too Geno, took it out for more pics. I'm pretty sure there is a 'flamed' version around too Geno, I think one of Hollis customers brings one in from time to time.@geoff-jowett Fantastic Geoff, I love that yellow coupe. I gotta get me one.😎💯
Although minimal engine wiring?
