that looks great John, and I think its one I've done too. As long as I don't stuff them up too much the rod kits can come up so well and fit in fine with a diecast rod/custom collection display.
PS good luck finding the door handle!
Looks great John. I have the kit but have not built it yet. I bought the kit about a year ago with the thought of modeling the 1/1 29 Model A Roadster I built several years ago. I built the 1/1 with a Brookville metal body over a 32 grill shell and frame. The motor was a 302 out of a 94 Pickup with 289 heads, Comp Cam, Edelbrock Performer intake and Carb and a solid state ignition mated to a C4 Transmission. The rear end was out of a Chevy S10 Positraction which was exactly the right width for the body. The interior was a beige roll and pleated with a banjo steering wheel fitted to an Ididit tilt steering column, Stewart Warner gauges and a Lokar shifter. Loved the car but didn't fit in it.
I like it John, I love these old roadsters. Very cool. I too hope you find the door handle. Bob, do you have any pics of your 1:1, I'd love to see them?💯😊
Love them roadster hot rods! GREAT build; with or without a door handle. Period classic!
Great job. Extra cool with the prime finish. Yes, good luck finding the door handle...don't hurt yourself jumping in.
