Looking for cars for sale on our auction at a buy it now price for a friend. He likes cars from the late 1930's to the mid or possibly late 1940's.

That's the time period that influences my collecting too, Jerry. These years don't seem to have much of a following as such with many collectors preferring, it seems, to buy just the models from this time period that they particularly like to include in a much broader collection.
FM & DM models featuring cars from the 1930s to the late 1940s, not that there was ever a great variety produced anyway, can be found on this site auction page, but also, and this is where I obtained nearly all mine,.on ebay.
It's always a nice thing to do to support the home team, but in this instance that is not always possible.
