Changed the grille to a 1960 grille.
photo no longer available
This was another model that stayed on DMs inventory towards the end but when I finally decided to ..
Order it, it was SOLD OUT! 😢 š
Yes Phil. Mine is #'ed close to 2400. Lady said then that it was almost out. I had 2 of them before but sold them. Later missed not having it. So rebought it again.
Never liked the original grille. So I made a change and put in a '60 grille from a junk car. Think this is a keeper.
Looks good. I thought about it several times, never got it.

Hollis I just noticed the grille swap! That too was one thing I didn’t like about the custom version
As DM originally did it.
Phil all Watson did was paint the orignal Grille. He also left the stock interior in the car. DM did the car as Watson built it. The paint job was actually what made it a custom. I didn't like that Grille either and have seen the car at several car shows. That was reason I had 2 prior to this one. Made up my mind when I bought this one I would change it some how. Love the car other then that.
Phil I have posted this car several different ways since I made the Grille swap and you are the first to say anything about it. Guess that means people look but don't really notice what they are looking at.
I tend to be more observant then most! Also am very inquisitive by nature.
The observant part of me is a good thing being I live and drive in NYC. LOL
