Franklin Mint did a pretty nice job on their 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL roadster and it displays quite well with the 50s lineup of PMAs and CMCs. This was our club car LE of 413 sporting a license plate as would have been issued for the Wawa, Pennsylvania county where their headquarters and museum used to be.

Beautiful model of a beautiful automobile.
In the late '70's MBZ would have a show at Fashion Island, a high dollar shopping center, in Newport Beach, CA.
A 300SL roadster rolling chassis was on display. I thought it was one of the most exquisite pieces of 'automotive art' I'd ever seen.
Have you had a chance to see one ?

Mine too. I wanted to do the European headlight version of this one for our LECC model, fashioned from the FM 1960 red version. Jay and Raffi were immediately onboard and we got it done with FM's fantastic help.
