Back when the Brits ruled Hong Kong, this '63 Morris FG T200 flatbed transporter truck would be seen plying the busy streets of Hong Kong and Kowloon. Built by Morris Motors Ltd and powered by a 243.6 cid Austin OHV 6. By that time, Morris and Austin had merged forming the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and their line up now included passenger cars, trucks and the famed London Taxis. With its curved windows set in the front fenders, it was prized for the extra visibility for maneuvering busy pedestrian filled city streets as well as its 3 ½ ton load capacity. Production began in 1959, and later, much like Chevy and GMC, were also sold as the Austin S200 that differed only with a different grill.
I love the retro-futuristic cab design and the intricate canvas top folds realistically in its different configurations.
WOW!!!!...........absolutely spectacular 😎
.............the creature comforts in the cab remind me of the old Macks and Whites that Roadway use to dispatch
@john-barry I like the quilted padding stuffed around the engine compartment and the dining room chair welded to the floor boards.

it`s almost as if they went overboard on the ergonomic concessions............but a stunning truck none the less
+1 with all comments above. A very cool truck.....something different!
