I've been watching the auctions and sales of the CMC Mercedes Benz 540K Cabriolet for some time and and an opportunity presented itself, yesterday. And, we all know what one is supposed to do when opportunity comes knocking, so I bought it and it is already on its way. It will need a bit of tidying up, but I looked over the photos carefully, and compared what I saw to other CMC 540Ks to be sure nothing was missing. I will still keep my eyes open for the light green model, but this one will fit in nicely with my other models of this period. The surprise for me was the seller didn't have 'CMC' anywhere in his header or description, which might have brought more buyers to the fore. Feedback is always welcome.

cant see anything missing, looks like you've done really well. Just a tip, be careful of handling the little chrome steps on the running boards. Mine have knocked off easily

Well, this one arrived in great shape, most likely due to it traveling in its original packaging. Score one for the Gipper. This model is becoming a favorite and I am very pleased to add it to the group. This scale works for me in many ways, especially when it comes to shelf real estate, so I will continue to search for more. I only wish there were more classic RRs, Bentleys, and Delage available in 1/24 scale.
