A lot of work went into making this a stock version. It started out as the Monogram Street Rat. I wanted a stock '66 in 1/24, not 1/25, so I converted this one. I redone the flip nose, used a Monogram '64 GTO chassis, and the rallys from a later year Chevelle. I know they're not factory correct but they just look right. I also used the photo-etch set from Model Car Garage and Bare Metal Foiled the trim. Thanks for looking guys, I do appreciate it.😊
Breathtaking!! "A lot of work went into making this a stock version." Yeah, and, WOW, it shows. Congrats Geno, phenomenal work!
Geno, your work is always spectacular.
Nicely done Geno.....a great looking early era of Chevelle.
Thanks guys, I do appreciate it. If you've ever seen this kit, you understand what it took to get it here, lol.😊
Great looking car as all of your models are. Did you open the hood and build an engine for it? Even when I was younger mine came out, well like crap compared to yours. That's why I started building military models. Make a mistake and just cover it with mud and dirt.
@grockwood Thanks Gary, It is just a curbside. I did paint and install a block for when and if viewed from underneath.😊
incredible skill levels! I cant add much to above, other than thanks for showing us Geno
