Brrrrr!!! Woke up to chilly 4 degrees with clear skies this morning. The weather report is reporting 3 to 5 inches of snow on the way tomorrow. Little bit of a rough night, so decided no coffee this morning, but instead some Green Tea.
After heating the water, pouring it in my cup, I ventured to my Car Room for my few moments of silence and reflection on the day. Light flipped on and the Green Tea must have been a subliminal message, because the first car my eyes bounced on was my DM GREEN '55 OLDSMOBILE SUPER 88 CONVERTILBE.
And whoa, I must still be a little blurry eyed, because I was seeing double and imagining double too! There sat my Green Dream Car with both Top Up and Top Down. I have to be honest and admit that since I first got this model it has been one of my favorites. It was a diversion from the previous Red & White issue and the Two-Tone Green just seems so warm, especially on this cold morning. And oh yea, it would be a Top Up day.
Some REAL '55 OLDSMOBILE SUPER 88 CONVERTIBLE Facts...

All models displayed the browed headlights and the name O L D S M O B I L E scrolled in block letters on the middle grille bar. You do a great job with these posts, George. The Oldsmobile line has always been a favorite of mine, both as a 1:1 or in scale.
