HA! I worked, at 12, delivering papers on a bike. I sold the bike and bought a used go-kart. Worked on it and turned it into a racing kart. Sold it and bought a 1931 Ford Model A. Put a '52 flathead V-8 in it and got it running like a top! Sold it and bought my first 'real' transportation, for $600. A 1957 Ford Fairlane 500, B&W coupe. That was my daily transport to High School. It was 1963. By then I was delivering bread at 3:30 AM in a Bond Bread truck. Ordered the '64 GTO in November of 1963. Sold the Ford just prior to the Pontiac coming in. Then until retirement, I swear, I must have had Pennzoil running through my veins, as I bought new cars about every 6 months to a year!
