1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible in Mist Gray poly over Juneau Gray poly. Formerly Polar White over Burlingame Red, this color combo was fairly conservative for its time, inspired by this Ad. I love the red interior and red wheel discs with the grays. Enjoy!

Back in 1955, at 8 years old, I was already a die-hard automobile fan & lover. But my 'then' taste ran toward the bright-colored cars; red, deep blue, bright green and the 'then' current 50's pastels. Only into later years did I, not only appreciate, but fall hard for the more, as you put it, conservative, dark grey, silver and colors that I used to see as stodgy and old-fashioned. This car, in that coat of color, is, well, hating to repeat myself, but.....MAGNIFICENT!Â

Thats an extraordinary recreation Pete. I'd suggest the paintwork application is superior to the original.
