Arnie Knulson made it official just moments ago.
Booming thru the lodge megaphone, AK`s sonorous baritone made the announcement all had dreaded hearing again.
The lodge would close for the season following the last lift today,a ride over slope 14, for which Werner and Gretchen Wizzennauselwitz had already staked their places at the front of the line
GREAT pics!!!
George Bojaciuk once told me that there was lament at TFM for not having the "i" dotted in the word "Trails" as there is in the word, "Beginners". I love this model, have it on full display with its many, many accessories and that fact never bothers me at all.
And I'll bet Werner and Gretchen could care less, especially now!
a 1/24 ski lift? Amazing, great stuff John.

When they asked him, under oath,if his purview encompassed crossing the T`s and dotting the I`s,he slid his glance over to the bench by the doorway.
The tall, sandy haired man with the toy Corvettes, was no longer seated there .....or anywhere ELSE in the courtroom
Gretchen had seen to that personally
I accidentally called George Bojaciuk a while back. I thought I was calling the president of our Corvette club, who is also named George. Bojaciuk was on the road, but we had a laugh at my "butt dial"
JB, where do you FIND all of this stuff?
it all comes from the dusty archives on eBay(sement)....in this case John....G-scale trains
I get almost all of my model stuff on eBay. I remember when there wasn't an eBay. I remember rotary phones and clocks with hands on them. I remember when I had hair and a 36" waist.
A friend once asked me if I'd like to go back to those days. I said, "Hell naw. Think of all the shit we've been through to get where we are today"
a bumpski....in consideration of the snows of the not-too-distant future
