Quite impressive Jerry.
Verry verry nice, Jerry. Doesn't look like your missing too much.
Missing..'52 Texaco wrecker, Jer, but..
..purrdy darn nice..c'llektion..( even with Linkins included, eh!!)..DM loves someone!!!!!=;
Your cases - what are they?
Very nice collection, Jerry. What sort of cases are those? At first I thought they were curios that stood against a wall. However, in one of the pictures it appears that you snapped a photo and then went around to the other side of the cabinet and took another picture. Are these free standing cabinets, viewable from both sides?
It's a cheap Kenworth W900 car transport made by New Ray.
It is 1:43 scale. Truck cab is diecast and the rest plastic. Very little detail like 1:43 cars but it displays nicely when loaded up with the baby cars..... Got it for $18.
Clarke,sorry, I missed my 'Wannabes'...They wanna be in the parking lot but they aren't up to snuff as you might say. They include a Delorean, 48 Chevy Fleetwood fastback, 62 VW Microbus, the new BMW Mini-cooper and this one...
They are Jadas and Wellys. And an unknown...
These are curio cabinets - 30x72x14 inches - from Ks-Merchandise.
I picked them up for $165 each on sale at 50% off. I added 3 addl. shelves for $48 for each curio. Then I built my lift platforms for the back row of cars and that cost me about $25 per curio. Total per parking lot about $250. The glass alone for built-in displays of the same volume would have run over $1600 or possibily more. The curios have glass doors on the sides and mirrored backs & 1 interior lite.....
Thanks, Doug. I try to get a broad range of 'stock' models and avoid the re-paints I consider duplicates. I know I'm heavy on the Vets but with some variety. AND the Linkins.....OK, Clarke?????
Great pics & collection, Jerry. Thanks for sharing.
The collection is small (about 200 1:24s) in comparison to some others but the bank account and square footage DOES override anyone's dreams of a huge collection......
..and the measurements of that " big blonde ", Jerry??LOL??did ya' say??
Jerry..reserve biddin' b'gins...how 'bout, say,..a grand..it's yours, eh!!
...double boxed..Jerry pays shippin', ok??? Have a great day, anyway, Jer...we can't have " everything, ok..nice collection, aside from the " hole " left 4 the '52..
