One More Mid-Fifties Car of the Future.... [PIC]

Another resurrected model from my ancient toy box. This one was fairly beat up so I stripped what was left of the paint and polished the hell out of it. I painted it a metallic blue and kept the rest bare metal. It seems to have been a futuristic take off on the contemporary Chrysler's "Forward Look" design featuring triple headlamps and a really cool George Jetson-like roof line. It's about the same scale as those Mattel 'the future in 1960' friction models I recently showed. This is a Banthrico diecast bank.
