Both Mints seemed to excel in different genres (at least IMHO). I was always impressed with DM's truck lineup. They always seemed to up there game even early o. For FM, their Brass Era models always impressed me as far as build quality and overall veracity. One of these models that I always enjoy looking at it their 1912 Packard Victoria whose design still falls under the 'horseless carriage' configuration with the platform placed above the wheels giving it that high center of gravity but still has a graceful appearance. Its post-Victorian, pre-WWl styling speaks of a kinder more gentile era. You can picture a well-to-do family taking this vehicle for a leisurely Sunday drive.
Rich, Great shots. Just not my cup of tea. But I thank you for sharing with the group.
Great pics and your little people make the images come alive.
Have it, love it. Rich I agree with your thoughts about DM and FM and their build category strengths. Super pictures as always.
superb model, superbly photographed!
What an impressive and elegant car and model !
This is such a wonderful model. I bought my 2nd hand many years ago, I am thrilled with it. Having seen a similar 1:1, this gem from FM captures all the elegance & class perfectly.
