Steve, thanks. It was raced exactly as it appears in your pictures, please just reconfirm, thanks.

That is just so cool. What is it worth?

Sooooooo nice!

I had a black '60 ragtop (not a 300) in my younger days. We could use one of these in 1/24 - how about a ragtop also. 😉

They were not raced at Daytona - they were there for Daytona Speed Weeks only...*6 videos*...

...thus the mentioned above flying-mile record.

The one 300F that did not compete on the time trials suffered from a burned out clutch from too many stop light hole shots.

Six parts of one video focusing primarily on the 300F:

The 300F is my all-time favorite car. I even built a 1/25th scale model of one using the Johan '60 DeSoto model kit.

Steve, thank you. I would agree with you, having found the same quote.

One of the greatest picture posts so far.

Thanks, Steve, for the additional info. Basically a priceless car, at least to someone who doesn't think it's "just another pretty 300". 2.93's with a 4-speed...wow...definitely helps explain the 145mph top end. Also would help explain the burnt-out clutch from pulling hole shots !!B-)

Ben, Hope you did not take offense saying something to Vinny? Sorry if so was only trying to help you get a car or pair. Mine came today and they are something to behold.
