'69 AMC Hurst SC/Rambler
Nice Pic! Eliminate the hood scoop, and I'm in.

I think most of them had the scoop.
The scoop was part of the SC/Rambler package...
along with over-the-top graphics. It left it's mark.

Maybe that's why I never saw them when they were new. LOL!
With the scoop, I pass it by at a car show. Without the scoop, I'd give it some attention. It's still a nice car and great pic though.

Heart don't fail me! 🙂
THIS is the ONE car I have been dreaming would some day be in my 1:24 collection. The epitome of the late '60s motor/design excesses. This was no sleeper. This was no muscle car in sheep's (grocery getter) clothing. This was a compact car with AMC's big block 390 stuffed in between the fenders. AMC didn't hold anything back. They gave it red, white and blue graphics that gave out a loud visual shout to those not close enough to get startled by the song emitted from that big block. This was an in-you-face, no holds barred muscle car that made no excuses for what it was, or wasn't.
I WANT THIS SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
George. George. George. You must not be a muscle car gearhead like me. LOL!
.....so, how do you really feel about the "Scrambler" - LOL.
PIC - I've never been a fan of American Motors, but I've always liked this one.....
Love it ! An AMX in 1:24 would sell like hotcakes, yes?
Count me in for sure. Bring it on!
Aww, it's OK. It's ok. LOL!
Let's make billboards and march in front of Danbury Mint's front doors.
Would only be a 20 ride for me. LOL!
When are You going? I have to Fly In from the West Coast! but let's give it a try!
Amen Bob!
