Nice looking car, but not one of my favorite Studebakers.

A case of brain fade at the Studebaker design studios. Instead of.....

leading the industry in design like in 1953, they were just trying to keep up with the trend......
They started copying others and it didn't work....

It just looks too much like a hodge podge of parts thrown together without any thought.

I have to say I like this one - I guess because of the color combo.

This car is lacking the correct proportions…..it’s just awkward.

Looks like something Chrysler would make.

Considering the impossible financial constraints Studebaker-

Packard was under in these years, it's a surprisingly attractive coupe and in a very good color combo here. This would make a fascinating model, as would a Lark and the following upscale Gran Turismo Hawk to round out the Loewy fathered series.

I agree 100%. Not crazy about this car, but would jump at a 1:24. It's interesting for some reason.
