This is a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan as done by MotorMax in 1/24 scale. It's been done by them in several colors and the tires are reversable to give it a blackwall look. In one picture, Lauren Bacall is behind the controls and in another, a young lady watches Captain Chuck Yeager returns to base after breaking the sound barrier in his Air Force Bell X-1 rocket plane.

I've only seen the Brooklin woody version of this Fleetline Aerosedan, which has more of a staid, down-home feel, but in red it is such a striking model. Good to see it in its various settings, especially awaiting the return of the iconic Chuck Yeager and in his Bell X-1 rocket. Among my favorite films : The Right Stuff !

I too, like your presentation Mike.  THANKS for sharing it.  I also really like the model.  I'd love to have it in the red (and other colors) on my car shelves.

Thanks, everyone. This one is inexpensive, but very nicely done and I believe others have done these fastback Chevrolets in a beautiful manner, although in a more upscale price/detail way.
