The 1957 Ford Thunderbird was certainly a beautiful car and this replica was done inexpensively but very nicely by MotorMax some years ago.

I think you need to adjust your post title/narrative by one year Mike.

Yeah, I think that actually is MotorMax's 1956 Thunderbird ! I do have a 1/43 from '56 and a Yat Ming 1957 Thunderbird, also. These two-seaters are such lookers ...... kinda like the blonde and the two-seat T-Bird in "American Graffitti" !

Thanks, Bob. These are certainly iconic automobiles from back then and are real classics to put out in replica form.

It seems most favor the '57 T-bird...my favorite Baby Bird is the '56, like the one pictured.

Thanks ! You cannot go wrong with any Thunderbird, especially these first generation ones.

Love the pics - studio shots or on location, the '56 has not looked better.

I love the baby birds; especially the sans connie '55 and '57.  Ford offered a great range of colors for them too.....here are several:

Before I knew one of the mints made a 1957 bird, I bought this Sunnyside version.
