Very nice model and great pics! Station wagons of the 50s, 60s, and 70s were very under appreciated and underrated by the buying public. It was almost like one was a loser in that era if you owned a wagon. And today, everyone drives an SUV and they all look alike.

The station wagon definitely was really popular and highly regarded. My family had many over the years and I still remember my Grandfather's green 1952 Ford station wagon and also his Willys Jeeo wagon. Over the years we also had Studebaker, Dodge, Chevy and Buick wagons. I still have my old 1996 Buick Roadmaster station wagon. In a sense, the modern SUV is really in many ways the old station wagon in a new guise.
Your photos are all works of art!!
These are nice models of a wonderful design. I love the station wagon and it really is a shame that they have disappeared from our roads. I have this model in four colors.
Great photos, it's always cool to see the models in your settings.

In 1978 my wife got her sales and brokers real estate licenses and needed a car that she could take potential buyers to look at houses. We ended up buying a new 1978 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country wagon which was perfect for the job. Unfortunately interest rates jumper to between 18 and 20 % which virtually brought the real estate to a stand still. When this model came out I was all over it as the only changes between 1978 and 1979 were some minor differences in the grill area. My only criticism of the model is the oversized hood ornament. For the price, this model is a real bargain.
@bob-jackman Bob; I recall you mentioned that your T&C wagon was rear-ended by a garbage truck and totaled. I suppose if such an accident had to occur it was a blessing to have had such a big car.

Lol, thanks, Tony !

Thank you, John. It is too bad the station wagon is not really considered a part of the modern automotive scene, although, in a sense, the SUV is kind of a modern interpretation of that useful and passenger-carrying vehicle.

Cool, yet economically unfortunate, story about that real Chrysler LeBaron wagon from back then, Bob ! The hood ornament is a bit big on the MM Chrysler station wagon and, interestingly, it is also, I think, somewhat oversize on MotorMax's otherwise excellent 1949 Buick Roadmaster convertible in 1/18th. I guess MM doesn't want to be accused of having little hood ornaments !
