The 1961 Chevrolet Impala Hardtop was offered in six colors. Two were in the standard trim, one was a two-tone in Desert Fawn & Fawn Beige, the other was in Jewel Blue. The SS 409 versions came in four colors. They were Ermine White, Honduras Maroon, Roman Red & Tuxedo Black. In the Precision Model market, this was the 1st time a model was offered in so many colors at once. As ambitious as this offering was, it was nothing compared to what was to come with the introduction of the 1964 Impala SS in all 15 factory colors.
In today's featured post, the pair in Ermine White & Roman Red look great together.

Have 'em and love 'em! The Chevy for '61 was (in my opinion) the only General Motors car that was perfect. The other brands in their ladder line-up were all adorned with pointy front and rear fenders. The Chevy was just clean and stylish. And WCPD did an incredible job of replicating this model.
GREAT PHOTOS!

I can't decide which '60s Chevy I like the most.
The '59, '61 or '65.
