well done......!
it looks like a great deal of time, and attention to detail, went into this very satisfying production.......thank for the presentation Tony
Interesting. But, I never understood why DM only did '1' version of the '57 T-bird. And...
? I know I'm not the only 1:24 collector who feels that way.
I do have the '1' that they did. '57 is my all-time favorite T-bird.
+1.

I don't understand why Danbury didn't do a lot of cars back in the day.
As good as they were at creating masterpieces in 1:24 scale, they missed NOT doing so many great cars. And then at the peak of their perfection, they left us wanting so much more. Now they're gone!

DM was working on a supercharged 1957 "F-Bird"
at the time of the factory closing. A couple of shots of the only development sample here.photo no longer available

fun dio...
Gee Rick, what were some of the other DM's that made it to Production...
but never made it for public sale? I remember seeing on bay 53 Ford Coupe's and Wagons, 58 and 59 Lincolns and mystery Studebakers.
That would've been SO SWEET....drool.
Oh Mamma! Hi Rick!
I'm still upset with DM. I was told a 63 T-Bird was in the works which never materialized...they jumped from 62 to 64. Oh well.
I wish I'd gotten this one. At the time, it just fit in as to where my collection was going.
Now, it would be perfect.

Bob, I did photograph a '63 T-Bird. It was in development but no samples were ever made.
