Running behind today... I am feeling as gloomy as the weather here in Michigan.

Nice Desoto. Did you remove the rear side windows yourself? How did you do it? Looks so much better that way. I have the plum & lavender Fireflite Sportsman coupe & Firedome convertible. Only wish the convertible had wire wheels. I personally think the Sportsman coupe is DM's best model ever.

I have and love this car. Just wish the wheel covers were not gold. Still a beauty though.

@ Al Dorado: Mine doesn't have rear windows. I think DM issued some of the earlier ones with them.

George is right. Mine came that way from DM. It has never had rear windows.

You are right. I pushed the envelope that day and made them sit...
through more photos than their contract dictates. Which in hindsight, that probably made them annoyed and more aggressive by the end.

I know Bill, that it came with the gold wire wheels. I just don't like them.
