PICs - Daily Dose of Diecast...Saturday
OK, if you have been following along each day, you knew this day was coming. The 1963 Impala from FM is not one of our greatest models, and compared to the fabulous Impala models we received from WCPD and even DM's 59 & 60 versions, well it's kind of sad. With that, it is still a pretty decent model. A few flaws take away from its presence on the shelf, but it is the only '63 in this scale worth looking at. So I have all four of them. While the red version commands more attention, the Silver-Blue captures my interest just a bit more...

John, even though it has it's faults, it still displays nicely and fills a void in my collection.
Flaws are not obvious to me and I'm happy to have it as part of my collection. Love the 1:1 '63 SS.

I have the two Hardtops. I keep them in back of my shelves so as to not have to look at them.
I have it only for the reason Bob Jackman stated, that it fills the gap in my collection to allow me to have a Chevy from every year from 1954 to 1964. But for sure it's my least favorite of the bunch.

WOW that brings back memories! I bought that early on
In the collection/addiction stage of this hobby. Mine has a special meaning to it as it was purchased from Bob K. Great guy and at one time had the most fantastic collection I'd seen!
