I have this one and find it to be very bland. Like it though!

IMO, it needs WW's and a different colored interior, but not black.
For me Jerry, I like the interior but not the steering wheel color. As for a different color interior, I think if it were changed from what it is already, black would be the only color that would look okay. White would be awful!

I disagree, a parchment interior would be stunning. I've never understood putting...
black vinyl (or leather) in convertibles. It gets incredibly hot with the top down and then ya gotta put down bath towels to keep the back of your legs from getting scorched when wearing shorts. Not to mention your back sticking to the seat back, too.
I realize black/dark interiors don't show dirt, but I personally would rather see the dirt so I could clean it. I have a light beige/cream leather interior in my convertible and love it. Keeps the interior light and not so dark and claustrophobic feeling.
The Danbury Mint 1961 Thunderbird Pace Car is gold with a parchment interior and I think it is a beautiful combination.
Parchment or tan would work for me.
Randy every word you stated is exactly how I view interior colors!!
My favorite is "yea but you see every spec of dirt with a light interior". Lol so does that mean one should only clean when something LOOKS dirty????? Lololol I think not!
George, I have the Verdoro green version and like it.
It dosnt pop either and is kind of drab as well BUT the monochromatic color scheme of the late 60s was very popular and common ! That said, these models represent the times and what WAS. We might not always find each and everyone "sharp" or attractive but historically, I feel it's important to model cars as they commonly were rather then "enhanced ". My 1966 Toronado is Tropic Turquoise and had an all green similar hue interior. Well when I bought the car in 1983 the interior was already trashed so I decided when I redo it I will spice things up! Finally got around to the interior in 1999 and did the seat inserts, carpet and dash in the original Turquoise color and fabrics BUT I did the seat vinyl, headliner and door panels in parchment. Result is gorgeous and striking and really pops! I could care less about originality as its MY car and makes ME happy. Next is some body work and a repAint as its still wearing its 51 year old very chipped and faded paint!!!
Phil, I have the green one as well. Someday soon I hope to feature them together.
While somewhat drab in color hue, they were the colors I saw as a kid. The greens and browns, golds & oranges of the late 60's & early 70's were everywhere. I'd go for some of those "drab" colors today.

WOW - I missed this one and regret it .... This is very nice .. Any Sellers out there? - Hello?
My stupid computer is always doing double posts .... maybe my mouse button is set too fast
That's the most fake looking 'wood' steering wheel I've ever seen.
Exactly! Like I said that's what was then so.....
