-issued by FM in 2001

Beautiful pictures John. Hard to believe this was issued 16 years ago.
Very sharp wagon / great pics.
Got it when it came out and returned it. Just wasn't a fan of it. Seemed bigger than a 1:24 scale and looked entirely to kid's "toy like" to me. Not to mention I didn't care for the little picnic basket etc. extra's that came with it.
I know this was a popular car with many fellow collectors, so I'm guessing the one I returned got a good home.

I always hoped this would have been re-issued in another color, like white or red.

One of FM's treasures. Wish it had been re-issued in a different color.
I'd always wished it would have been issued as a hardtop. Now that would have been a keeper!

WHITE ... I would have jumped on it ... Pulled the trigger
WOW .... 16 years ???? - Seems like Yesterday
Gee thanks, George. You just made me feel all warm and fuzzy....lol!
I have thought the same, re-issue in white or beige, keep the interior the same.

Have it and love it
Nice model, George B. Hope you feel better.
Therapist says a few more sessions and I should be golden. Prescribed laying off Schire posts.
Only kidding, George!
That's an awesome model when TFM was getting its' act together and becoming a leader!
It featured MANY working and articulating panels that worked well and the accessories added all the more charm to an already adored 1960s work horse! These wagons hauled around our families and "things" long before an SUV was even a thought in anyone's mind, let alone the norm of a means of transportation as they are today! I personally love the color as A) It stands out B) Seafoam green was a popular 60s color and C) were don't really have any other die-cast in this shade! Great model I'm proud to own in my "fleet"
George has a way of doing that. Does the same thing to me when he comments how much he hates my 1/1 61 Lincoln !!! LOL!!!
