Super sharp pair / outstanding pics. Like this 'red' pair better than the red '55s I mentioned...
...yesterday.
I still LOVE my '56 Bel Air after all these years. A real gem.
I opted for the FM '56 Vette / white - which is very sharp too.

John, I said several years ago that photographing these little gems was ...
... a hobby 'all unto itself'. I know I can say for everyone that we ALL appreciate the effort that you, Tony and others put forth.
Dennis was teasing me about taking some photos of my collection. My old 'flip-phone' won't do a very good job!
Trust me. LOL!
I did my photos with my old Minolta X-700 at many, many car shows in my past. I'm not sure where I can even get 35mm photos developed now! The times have passed me by in that regard.
So, I just enjoy the photos that you and others bless us with.

How important and meaningful the pictures taken by the masters and passed on to those of who live in the masses
I can say ... for me anyway ... it is A TRUE labor of love for me when I take what few lil measeley pics I take and submit to those in attendance
I greatly appreciate Tony, Jim ( Merrit & Kinder ) Hollis and all the rest that take the time and share their flavors with us.
This is a great place to hang out and the picture view is pretty darn good as well.
Now ... if you will excuse me .... I have to prepare for ....

Photos
I enjoy photographing my models and have done a lot of them for my website over the years (shamblesmodels.com/). I've tried a variety of cameras and lenses but, even with a sophisticated Samsung NX300 and close up filters, I could not get the results I wanted. So, I started using my iPhone 10 and was amazed. My sister is a retired photography professor with some high-dollar cameras and say's the new smart phone cameras blow them away.

So.... here is a stupid question from a very stupid guy
I take a picture with one of them thar fancy cell phones
Back in my day ... a cell phone is a cell phone
So ... I take a picture ... how do I get to the D4C website
I use a lil CANON SD450 5Megapixel with a SD card
I take the pic
I take the card out ... and the SD card goes into the card reader
I open MY Computer ... F drive ... select the IMG_123 ... then I have to resize pix to meet D4C format
Then I post
So many steps ... but it's what I know
Besides ...
For me ... I like my close ups
I have so much I should learn ...
But this late in the game ... I go with what I know
... till the final dinner bell rings :O
