Great pics. I have the original issue but I always liked the extra pizzazz of the LE in this color.

I have both the original white and then this pink version, both are just okay in my opinion.

Such a pretty color on a nice model. Nice setting, too!

You are right George. The models fall short in many ways, but the original is a significant model for the 1:1 it represents.

They COULD be a little crisper in details but for their day they're fairly nice models

A good amount of detail and working parts too! Steerable wheels, folding seatbacks, wired and plumbed engine, working suspension etc...

...and the first FM diecast with the new style door hinges. Short lived, due to issues with the doors staying shut and the large forward door gaps, but it's still one of my favorite Pontiacs.

Oh I totally agree with you John. I was excited as a pig playing in the mud when FM gave us the '57 Pontiac. And I didn't hesitate a bit in adding to my collection, along with the later pink version. I'd hoped for a hardtop version of it and a Safari wagon too.

Decent model. Seems like every time I touch mine something falls off. Just dried out or under- applied glue from the factory but I have had to reattach more parts than I can remember on this one. Still a nice model though.
