These are 1/25 promos of the extremely attractive Dodge Monaco for 1965. Dodge was a client of my Dad's then and we had a 1:1 1965 Dodge Custom 880 station wagon and a four-door 1966 Dodge Monaco.

This era of Dodge automobiles were really good-looking cars and marked a return for them to a real full-size status after an ill-advised downsizing.

Thanks ! It is unfortunate that I don't think any of the 1/25 -1/24 promos can be directly used for making diecast model automobiles. If they still exist, maybe measurements could possibly be used to make new diecast replica molds of cars.

Or perhaps the old promotion models could be re-released with some success. Easily available 3D printing may also become more widespread. Imagine getting a reasonably-priced replica of essentially any automobile from any era for one's collection.

That is a classic Mike. I agree. There's some nice 3D stuff out there.

I loved the '65 Plymouth Fury III but was lukewarm on the Dodge grille and tail lights......even more so the following year.  Just one person's opinion.....

Thanks, Geno ! Possibly 3D computer-printed models may be one direction the future might take. I could imagine some really nice and quite personalized automobile models in various scales.

If one has the ability, a bit of experience, and a home desktop computer, you could speculate about some remarkable and quite individualistic replica automobiles and collections.

what great models, a lot of the promos models I've seen advertised for sale appear to be poor quality kit builds. Not these!

When I was a kid, I had a number of 1/24 - 1/25 scale automobile models and they seemed to be accurate and of high quality. I wish I still had all of them, but I only have a couple from back then.
