PICs Holidays diorama ideas...
Michaels have Lemax figurines on sale this week, they seem to match 1:24 pretty well. Here is a quick setup. The fence in the background is particularly good and can be used in different settings. The light poles illuminate, and the Christmas decoration probably can be removed, if one wants to use them later in different setting.

very nice, Chav....
This Buick is so darn beautiful. I remember when it was first released, there were some collectors that were finding issues with the roof not being die-cast. And another was complaining about the color combination.
All said and done, it is one of DM's finest, and a true gem on my shelf.

The idea for the diorama came when I found these in the store...
... this Buick was the first car that came to my mind for Christmas celebration setting.
Thanks Joop. Could be done better in daylight with more time to work on it ...
... it was just a quickie to show the accessories pieces. Many here probably knew these Lemax pieces are close to 1:24, it was a discovery for me.
Nice.... A day of shopping turns into night time.
Jerry, you are overestimating my scripting skills.

On the bright side this hobby allows us to have cars in ...
... atypical colors. A color scheme that we would've probably not purchased for daily driver, but it makes such a centerpiece in a diecast collection.
No question about it.
