PICS: My WISH LIST 1:24 die-cast car #27 1957 BUICK
The first question I'd ask is, how could anyone not want this timeless classic in 1:24 scale? In both roof-styles and with the eye-catching three-piece rear window, I've always liked this Buick from bumper to bumper.
I saw one of these at last year's "Back to the 50" car show at the Minnesota State Fair grounds, and it was surrounded by on-lookers and much conversation.
I've no doubt that any of the mints in their producing frenzy days could have made a mint (pun intended) with a release of any '57 Buick. I know I'd have placed my order fast!
The two examples here would have been perfect!

I remember a gray 1957 4 door sedan Special my father had...but the "Roadblaster 75" was the dream car!

The rear window on the Super and Roadmaster series was not a true three piece like the Special and Century. Instead it was a one piece with chrome strips, optional, affixed to simulate a three piece glass. I would have bought every 57 model made in 1/24 scale had they been made.Buick and Oldsmobile were my favorite GM cars for 57...how they could go from that to the ugly 58s is beyond my comprehension.
