And thanx fur lookin'!
Great pictures many years before the ill fated marriage.
Thanx Bob, but they lost something in the translation. This is the first set of photos I've posted..
..using the "new" Photobucket. These images are MUCH sharper on my computer, so I'm not real happy with how they look. I'm not sure what happened.
Great models Gene.......my first day too for Photobucket's downgrade, no more stats and less frills........a big step backwards....has the feel of 1996 technoloy
Thanx, Paul. Yeah, they really screwed it up, but I have so much content on there that I can't......
...even consider transferring it to another photo site. I find it clunky now and more difficult to choose which pix to use with their stupid half-assed thumbnails. Like you said : suddenly it's 1996 again.
A classic example of, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Photobucket...
...went from user-friendly to user-UNfriendly. Try Picasa Web Albums. Much easier to use after a brief familiarity period.
I agree, Tony. I already use Picasa for editing so alot of my stuff is already up there.
Photobucket DOWNgrade??? Well said! That is just a perfect characterization of the software.
One of my pet peeves with the high tech industry is the constant need to "upgrade" which on the outside appears to be just an exercise to make changes for change sake. I just have to assume that internally, there are technical issues that they feel they need addressing that are invisible to users. I can understand changes for the companies that sell software, like Microsoft. For "in the cloud" companies like Photobucket, where a specific service is being sold and not a software, the changes just create disgruntled customers.
Same here. The new format really sucks......
I'm still avouding it having tried it a month ago, but the old format will be gone soon for good.
It defies understanding, except for the "change for the sake of change" thing that you mentioned.
I gave up on Photo Bucket about a year ago. It got too complicated and didn't work. So I moved on.
