Not a Vette kind of guy. This is my only Vette. Only Vette I really liked.

Extremely sharp '58. I opted for the FM blue/silver version.

Being a Vette kinda guy....

... I can tell that's a 1958. Unique to that year were the twin chrome trunk spears and the '58's grill had nine teeth instead of thirteen from previous years. It was also the first year for dual headlights. Sorry... didn't mean to go on and on....:p

No problem John. I think it's great that you point out features that others, like me, may not know.

I'm the same, Hollis. I only have one Corvette: the '58 in Panama Yellow.

I like the rare color and the chome strips of the deck lid, both exclusive to the '58 model. Though not a Corvette guy per se, I'd take C8 in heartbeat. I freakin' luv it!

This C2 / C3 guy could never settle for just 1 of the '58 offerings

Looks great in red. I have FMs in black & in white. Never got the red one.

Well, actually......

... the 1958 hood had the first, nonfunctional louvers. Extensive redesign for 1958 included new body panels, new instrument cluster, and new upholstery.

Sorry Dennis I would not have this one had it not come with the Diorama I just bought. The

Corvette is my most disliked car made. Not a fan of them at all.
