PLEASE! I ask that you all read my post #50830.6.2.1 below with regard to comments on the new DM/ACME Challenger.
There is always power in numbers folks, and I think we need to support DM in their (hopefully) return to 1:24 die-cast.
Read the post PLEASE! Thank you!

George how about following your own logic and buy the upcoming D4C '41 Packard?
It fits your "collecting years criteria", and who better to support and encourage more cars from than our very own Club?

@ Barry Levitan...Congratulations! There's one in every crowd.

AND what about your own statement, "If you don't like it, don't buy it". ????
So it's OK for you to dismiss the Packard at $275 but not for someone else this Challenger at $149?

Okay guys, sorry I said anything. Go ahead, bitch about the price, what it doesn't have, or what you'd rather it did have, and don't buy it if you don't like it.
Play the taps for 1:24 die-cast and we'll move on with our memories. The old saying, "You can't have your cake and eat it too" comes to mind.
R.I.P. 1:24 die-cast.

he did just that Jerry, he's just NOT buying it, but never bitched about it!
His "cap" is $200 this is higher CASE CLOSED! I don't recall him saying anything negative about the Packard aside from the price being high possibly. if it were in his price range he might just well have preordered one, am I correct George?
@ Phil Realmuto: You are correct.
